Chess clocks have arrived!

Thanks to the PTSA funding our grant request, we now have 5 chess clocks for student use.  We are slowly bringing these into game play.  I have taught half a dozen students who are now teaching their peers how to use the clocks.  Using clocks helps keep players on track when they have a limited amount of time to play a game.  If they have 20 minutes to play during lunch, each student can set their clock for 10 minutes per side.  Learning to use a chess clock is an important skill for competitive play.
